I’m Roberta, a Bulgarian-Armenian graphic designer and visual artist living in Berlin.
My early years took me to the beautiful island of Cyprus, where I spent my school years surrounded by the Mediterranean. Later, I moved to Florence, Italy, where I studied Graphic Design and Advertising and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. After Florence, life brought me to Berlin, which is now home. I live here with my family and have been working independently for around ten years.
I’ve loved drawing and making things since I was a child, always experimenting with painting, cutting, layering and combining different materials. That instinct to collect and connect things has stayed with me and continues to shape the way I look at the world and create.
I’ve always felt drawn to a more open-ended way of creating. Through photography, painting, collage and visual experimentation, I explore the things that catch my eye and stay with me. I’m especially drawn to nature, flowers and colour, and to the moods and feelings that images can evoke.
Graphic design has been an important part of my creative life. Over the years, I’ve worked independently across branding, identity design, logos and visual communication. It has taught me to look closely at how images, shapes, colours and ideas come together, and continues to influence the way I approach my own visual work.
This website is a space for these explorations: art photography, collected moments and visual stories. A place to follow my curiosity, experiment with images and materials, and notice beauty in both small and ordinary things.
I continue to enjoy working on thoughtful design projects, particularly in branding and visual identity. If you have a project you’d like to talk about, I’d love to hear from you.
